S9600-56DX The S9600-56DX is a versatile, white box open aggregation router, featuring Broadcom’s Qumran2c merchant silicon and Intel’s Icelake processor. This powerful platform offers 48x100G and 8x400G high-speed ports and a switching capacity of up to 4.8Tbps. The S9600-56DX can be deployed at C-RAN hubs for 5G fronthaul transport aggregation, positioned in backhaul for BBU pool aggregation, or programmed as a Broadband Network Gateway (BNG) for next-generation broadband networks. With OpenZR+ support, it’s an ideal solution for metro aggregation.
Designed for 5G time-critical applications, the S9600-56DX can function as an Edge Grandmaster (T-GM) or Boundary Clock (T-BC), meeting high accuracy fronthaul synchronization and timing requirements for flawless 5G and cooperative radio operation.
