International Orders
We ship internationally. Every international order is subject to export-control and sanctions review.
Overview
Hardware Nation ships around the globe. DHL, FedEx, and UPS are our preferred carriers for international small package shipments. You may also elect to ship via USPS. The final delivery of USPS shipments will be by the post service of the destination country. Large shipments will be shipped by an international freight carrier using a Door-to-Door or Door-to-Airport service. Shipping fees are calculated on a combined basis of weight, shipment value (for insurance purposes) and destination.
All import customs, duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. Please provide your sales representative with any special shipping instructions as soon as possible after the order is placed. Please review our policies on international payment and international returns.
Shipping Destinations
Hardware Nation ships to most countries. We do not ship to every destination, and availability can change.
U.S. export-control and sanctions restrictions apply to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, the Crimea region of Ukraine, and the covered Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) and Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR) regions of Ukraine.
We do not accept orders for, or ship to, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, or the Russian Federation.
Some additional destinations are not supported through our online quote request. Orders involving those destinations require review before we can proceed. If the destination you need is not offered in the form, contact us and we will tell you whether we can support the order.
The availability of a country in an online form does not guarantee that we can accept, fulfil, or ship an order. It is not a determination about any particular product, customer, or end use.
Export-Control Review
International orders are subject to applicable U.S. export control and economic sanctions requirements. Before an order is accepted we review the destination, the customer and end user, the intended end use, the export classification of the specific products ordered, and our internal compliance policy.
Restrictions depend on the combination of product, destination, customer, end use, and end user. A product that ships freely to one country may require a licence, or may not be exportable at all, for another. These rules are updated regularly, and a position that is correct today may not be correct later.
Shipping Time
Some of our items are sourced from various distribution points across the country. For this reason, some international orders will be consolidated at our main Buford, GA warehouse prior to shipment. Please allow the possibility of a few extra days for transit.
Item Restrictions
Before completing your purchase, please check with your account manager to make sure you are choosing items that are compatible in your country. Also, please confirm that your country’s import rules and regulations will allow you to import the items you are purchasing.
Government or manufacturer restrictions may oblige us to block certain products from shipping outside the USA.
Multiple Orders
To avoid higher than normal shipping fees many of our customers elect to combine multiple orders into one shipment at our Buford, GA location. When combining multiple orders please allow the possibility of a few extra days for transit.
Attested Documents
Certain countries require accompanying documents to be attested by the chambers of commerce. If you need attested documents, there will be a $50 USD fee per document requiring a signature.
Substitute Part Numbers
To prevent delays in customs and other unexpected issues we have established a strict policy on shipping only the exact part numbers ordered. If only a substitute part number is available, we will notify the customer prior to shipping the order.
Export Control
The U.S. export control and sanctions laws regulate the export and re-export of technology originating in the United States. This includes the electronic transmission of information and software to foreign countries and to certain foreign nationals. You agree to abide by these laws and their regulations. Although we provide the information on this page, you remain responsible for exporting or re-exporting our products in accordance with U.S. law.
Our products may not be exported or re-exported, either directly or indirectly, to any country embargoed by the United States, or to any country the United States designates as a supporter of international terrorism, without proper authorization from the U.S. Government. Cuba, Iran, North Korea, the Crimea region of Ukraine, and the covered Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) and Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR) regions of Ukraine are embargoed destinations. Other destinations are subject to licence requirements that depend on the specific item, and those requirements are updated from time to time.
Our products may not be sold, exported, or re-exported to any person or entity designated as prohibited or restricted by an agency of the U.S. Government. Exports to companies, organizations, or persons listed on the Specially Designated Nationals List, the Debarred List, the Entity List, and other governmental lists are prohibited.
Our products may not be used directly or indirectly in the design, development, fabrication, or use of nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons or missile technology without U.S. Government authorization.
The lists and restrictions referred to above are maintained by the U.S. Government and change frequently. This page is not a substitute for checking the current rules that apply to your transaction.

Tell us the destination country, the end customer, and the intended end use, and we will confirm whether we can support the order.
Packaging
Hardware Nation’s Packaging methods are among the safest in the industry. Below are the steps we take to ensure your equipment arrives without damage.
Servers, Storage, and Other Heavy Systems Packaging
• The system is placed into a double-walled durable box.
• We then use Sealed Air foam to form a perfect mold around the system, creating a cushion on all sides.
• Depending on the total size of the shipment, we may ship the order as loose boxes or strap the box (or boxes) to a pallet. We use only brand-new pallets (heat treated for international shipments) and the highest-quality packaging materials.
Hard Drives, Memory, CPUs, and Components Packaging
• Items are first placed into anti-static bags or other anti-static packaging.
• We then bubble wrap each item and place them in a double walled box. We then use additional bubble wrap, Sealed Air foam, or packaging paper to secure the items for shipping.
New in Box Systems and Components Packaging
• When possible, we double-box all new in-box items to ensure the original manufacturer box is not damaged.
