Last updated: October 11, 2026
Hardware Nation LLC ("Hardware Nation", "we", "us") sells IT hardware to businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect through hardwarenation.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Hardware Nation LLC, 2180 Satellite Blvd, Suite 400, Duluth, GA 30097, USA.
Questions or requests about your information: [email protected] or 800.398.1262.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a quote, fill in our contact form, email or call us, or place an order: your name, company, job title, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, the products you are interested in, any files you attach, and what you write to us.
- Information collected automatically. When you browse the site: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and similar usage information, collected with cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies" below).
How we use it
- To answer quote requests and questions, and to process, ship and support orders.
- To screen orders as required by US export control and sanctions laws, and to keep tax and business records.
- To send you information about products and offers related to your business. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in the email.
- To understand how our site is used and improve it, and to measure and show our advertising.
- To protect the site against spam, fraud and abuse.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only:
- With service providers that run parts of our business for us, under contract: HubSpot (customer records, website analytics and the copies of our website forms you submit), Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads and reCAPTCHA spam protection), Cloudflare (site security and delivery), REVIEWS.io (our customer-reviews badge), Searchanise (site search), and Adobe and Google, which serve the fonts on our pages.
- With suppliers, distributors and shipping carriers when needed to quote, fulfil or ship your order.
- When the law requires it, for example in response to a lawful request from a government authority, or to protect our rights.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of our business.
Advertising
We use Google Ads. Google's advertising cookies let us measure our ads and show our ads to people who have visited our site when they browse other sites. You can turn this off with Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page (under Legal), and you can control Google's ads at adssettings.google.com.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use these:
Necessary (always on)
- wp_woocommerce_session_* (Hardware Nation, 2 days): keeps your cart working.
- quform_session_* (Hardware Nation, session): keeps our forms working.
- __cf_bm, cf_clearance, _cfuvid (Cloudflare, up to 1 year): security and bot protection.

Functionality
- se-recently-viewed-products (Searchanise, 180 days): shows your recently viewed products.
Analytics
- _ga, _ga_E5BP6Q2JYJ (Google Analytics, 400 days): count visits and show how the site is used. When you submit one of our forms, Google may also receive a scrambled (hashed) copy of the email address, phone number or address you entered, to make our measurement more accurate.
- __hstc, __hssc, __hssrc, hubspotutk (HubSpot, session to 6 months): count visits; when you submit a form, link your visits to your contact record.
Advertising
- _gcl_au (Google Ads, 90 days): measures the results of our ads.
- test_cookie and other Google advertising cookies (Google, doubleclick.net, as set by Google; see Google's cookie policy): show and measure our ads.
Your choices. Use Cookie Settings (bottom of every page, under Legal) to accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies, or choose by category. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site may not work fully without necessary cookies.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline: analytics and advertising cookies are turned off for you. Our site does not respond to the older "Do Not Track" browser setting.
Visitors in Europe, the UK, Switzerland and Canada
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or Canada, analytics and advertising cookies are off until you choose to accept them, and you can change that choice at any time with Cookie Settings.
For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland:
- Legal bases. We use your information to take steps you ask for before a contract and to perform it (quotes and orders), to meet legal obligations (export control, tax and accounting), for our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business and communicating with business customers, and with your consent (analytics and advertising cookies, and marketing where the law requires consent).
- Your rights. You can ask us for access to your information, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and for a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier use. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
- Transfers. We are based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries, using the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, and longer where the law requires, for example tax and export-control records. Cookie lifetimes are listed in the table above.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
