Equipped with Broadcom’s Jericho2 merchant silicon, a selection of Intel processors, high-speed ports that support 400ZR/OpenZR+, and a switching capacity of up to 4.8Tbps, the S9600-30DX is a versatile solution for network aggregation.
The S9600-30DX can be deployed at C-RAN hubs for RAN vendor-agnostic fronthaul transport aggregation, positioned at the backhaul for BBU pooling, or utilized for metro and regional aggregation with 100G and 400G OpenZR+ support. With Class C timing accuracy and full support for SyncE and IEEE 1588v2, this open aggregation router is capable of fulfilling various network aggregation roles. Designed for 5G Time Sensitive Networking applications, the S9600-30DX complies with IEEE 802.1CM and can function as an Edge Grandmaster clock, ensuring error-free operation of 5G and cooperative radio techniques.
