The NVIDIA Spectrum SN2201 is a 1U open Ethernet switch featuring 48×1GbE RJ45 ports and 4×100GbE QSFP28 ports, delivering up to 448Gbps switching capacity. Designed to flexibly serve as a top-of-rack switch or an out-of-band management switch, the SN2201 supports non-blocking 100GbE uplinks with advanced ASIC-level telemetry and a 16MB fully shared buffer for efficient 1G switching. Compatible with multiple operating systems including Cumulus Linux and SONiC, it is ideal for modern data centers with 1G access requirements.

Can I get this switch bare metal without a NOS and then get SONiC for it?

Answer:

NVIDIA does not sell this switch bare metal unfortunately, only with Cumulus Linux pre-loaded. However, you can still boot the SONiC image via ONIE on the switch. Just make sure you use NVIDIA's Pure SONiC distribution that has been validated on Spectrum switches.
