AS9736-64D The AS9736-64D DCS520 is a cost-effective, open network spine switch designed specifically for data center fabric applications. This versatile switch features QSFP56-DD ports that can support various configurations, including 1 x 400G QSFP56-DD, 1 x 100G QSFP28, and 1 x 40G QSFP+. Additionally, it supports breakout cable configurations such as 2 x 200G (2 x 4 lanes 50G PAM4), 4 x 100G (4 x 2 lanes 50G PAM4), 2 x 50G (2 x 2 lanes 25G NRZ), 4 x 25G NRZ, and 4 x 10G NRZ.
The switch incorporates the Broadcom Tomahawk 4 switch series silicon, ensuring non-blocking line-rate performance. With a compact 2 RU form factor, the DCS520 AS9736-64D is designed to support hot/cold aisle configurations through its front-to-back airflow SKU. All ports are conveniently located on the front, while PSUs and fans can be easily accessed from the rear.
The DCS520 AS9736-64D is equipped with hot-swappable, load-sharing, redundant 2400 W AC/HVDC power supply units (PSUs) for reliable performance. It also features a 3+1 redundant, hot-swappable fan module system for efficient cooling. The hardware switch comes pre-loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE) for automated loading of compatible open-source and commercial Network Operating System (NOS) offerings.
