AS5812-54T The Edge-Core AS5812-54T DCS209 switch is designed for high-performance, availability, and network-scaling requirements in enterprise and cloud data centers. Offering full line-rate Layer 2 or Layer 3 switching across 48x10GbE ports and 6x40GbE uplinks, the switch can be deployed as a Top-of-Rack switch or as part of a 10GbE or 40GbE distributed spine, forming a non-blocking folded-Clos data center fabric. The DCS209 is compatible with standard 19-inch racks or 21-inch Open Racks using the Open Rack Switch Adapter.
Featuring high-availability components, the DCS209 includes redundant, hot-swappable AC power supplies, 4+1 redundant fan modules, and port-to-power or power-to-port airflow options. The switch is ideal for virtualized data centers, supporting VXLAN and NVGRE tunneling functions in hardware while utilizing existing Cat 5e/Cat 6/Cat 6A/Cat 7 cabling infrastructure, saving further investment.
