CSP-7550 The Edge-Core CSP-7550 is a 6.4TB server-switch hardware appliance housed in a 2RU chassis form-factor. Equipped with dual Intel 4110 or 5218 Xeon processors, it supports either 8 or 16 cores and up to 256GB DDR4 memory. With 32 QSFP28 (100 GbE) main ports based on a P4 programmable Tofino 64Q chipset, the appliance allows users to install their preferred operating system and software, offering a customizable experience. The CSP-7550 also supports 2 full-height PCIe Gen3 x16 and 2 half-height PCIe Gen3 x8 slots, 2x 2500W AC redundant PSUs, 3+1 hot-swappable redundant fan modules, and port-to-power airflow. It comes with a rack mount kit (front and back) and operates as a P4 programmable hyper cloud appliance.
The CSP-7550 is designed to cater to various applications, including load balancing (L4 and L7 network load balancer), firewall (virtualized security appliances), network visibility, performance monitoring, and mobile LTE/5G gateways (hybrid 4G/5G).
