The AS5912-54X AGR100 aggregation router is a cost-effective solution for data center top-of-rack and carrier access/aggregation applications. It features 48 SFP+ switch ports, supporting both 10 GbE and 1 GbE connections, ensuring versatile and high-speed network connectivity. Additionally, the router is equipped with 6 x 100G QSFP28 ports at the front, providing even greater capacity for data traffic. Designed for easy integration, the AS5912-54X is rack-mountable in standard 19″ racks and comes with hot-swappable, load-sharing redundant power input options, including AC or -48 VDC PSUs. The device also features hot-swappable 5+1 redundant fan modules for optimal cooling and reliability. For management purposes, it includes Ethernet and console RJ-45 ports. The hardware switch is pre-loaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), which enables automated loading of compatible open-source and commercial Network Operating System (NOS) offerings, making the AS5912-54X a versatile and cost-effective choice for various network environments.
