Overview

The Edgecore AS9516-32D DCS810 is a 12.8T P4 programmable large scale, data center leaf or spine switch designed for high-performance open network switch infrastructure. This 1RU form factor switch offers line-rate L2 switching and L3 routing, deep packet inspection, and traffic load balancing across its 32x400G QSFP-DD ports, which support up to 32×400 GbE connections. It can be deployed as a leaf switch with 25/50/100 GbE connections to servers and routers and 100/400 GbE uplinks or as a spine switch with 100/400 GbE leaf and spine interconnects. The switch comes pre-loaded with ONIE, enabling the installation of compatible open source and commercial NOS software.

Yes, you can delete them as needed. The switch comes only with ONIE, so you would need to add a NOS, such as SONiC.
