ASXvOLT16 The ASXvOLT16 Open Architecture XGS-PON OLT offers communication service providers with cost-effective hardware that comes with a range of features and benefits. It has four QSFP28 switch ports, each of which can support 100 GbE or 40 GbE, or alternatively, via breakout cables, 50 GbE, 25 GbE, or 10 GbE. This OLT can perform Layer 2 or Layer 3 forwarding at 300 Gbps (full duplex) and supports hot/cold aisles with front-to-back airflow SKU. It is compatible with CapGemini SDvAS, IP Infusion OcNOS, Netsia SEBA+, Radisys SD-PON, and STL pFTTx. It incorporates the Broadcom Qumran-AX ASIC.
The ASXvOLT16 has all its ports on the front, while its PSUs and fans can be easily accessed from the rear. The device is equipped with hot-swappable, load-sharing, redundant AC or -48V DC PSUs, and it also comes with 5+1 redundant, hot-swappable fan modules.
Also, this OLT can handle the abstraction between the protocol and the native hardware RPC, which further enhances its flexibility and versatility. It also features a hardware switch pre-loaded with Open Network Install Environment (ONIE) for automated loading of compatible open-source and commercial NOS offerings, making it easier to deploy and operate.
