AS7946-30XB The Edge-Core AS7946-30XB AGR400 is a high-performance, 2.4T , 100GbE aggregation router tailored for telecom and data center applications. Housed in a 2RU form factor, it is powered by a Broadcom StrataDNX Qumran2C ASIC and an Intel D1548 8C CPU. The router features multiple network interfaces, including 4x25G SFP28, 18x100G QSFP28, 2x400G QSFP-DD, and 4x100G QSFP-DD. Its 1+1 redundant, hot-swappable PSUs, and front-to-back airflow ensure carrier-grade reliability. The AGR400 supports high-powered optics and transceivers and can function in various roles.
The AGR400 is suitable for use cases such as OpenBNG, 100GbE aggregation router, PE router, and data center TOR switch/router. Preloaded with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), it is compatible with various Network Operating Systems (NOS) like Open Network Linux (ONL), IP Infusion OcNOS, and RtBrick Full Stack OS, as well as commercial NOS offerings. The router also supports Synchronous Ethernet and IEEE 1588v2 PTP and is compatible with Casa software.
