Choose the deployment scope
Both Meter Professional and Meter Premium include network hardware and software, security, network design, network and ISP management, and support and maintenance.
Professional
Use your preferred installer or deployment partner. Meter ships the equipment; network installation is excluded from this plan.
Premium
Includes installation and rollout. Meter describes a deployment scope that includes onsite installation and cabling work.
Hardware within the Meter subscription
These are current Meter model names. They describe components of the managed network, rather than standalone retail hardware offers.
Firewalls
- F1: 50 Gbps firewall with 50G SFP56, Gigabit SFP and 2.5GbE copper connections.
- F2: 20 Gbps firewall with 10G SFP+, Gigabit SFP and 2.5GbE copper connections.
- F3: two firewalls in one chassis for high availability, with a stated 20 Gbps throughput.
Switches
- S1: 24-port 2.5GbE PoE++ switch with six 25G SFP28 uplinks and a 720 W PoE budget.
- S2: 48-port 2.5GbE switch with six 25G SFP28 uplinks.
- S3: aggregation switch with six 25G SFP28 and six 10G SFP+ ports.
Wireless access points
- A1: tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point with a 2.5GbE uplink.
- A2: tri-band Wi-Fi 7 wall-plate access point with a 2.5GbE uplink and four Gigabit LAN ports.
