The UfiSpace S9705-48D is a 48 x 400GE disaggregated fabric switch that enables UfiSpace's S9700-53DX and S9700-23D core routers to be deployed as a distributed disaggregated chassis within the core and edge networks. This switch uses the Broadcom Ramon chipset, which utilizes a cell based switching interface that supports 8 billion cells forwarding per second. This approach maximizes switching performance by eliminating packet overhead and optimizes resource allocation to distribute loading between fabric interfaces. It is compatible with Arrcus, DriveNets, and other open-source and commercial NOS offerings. It is configurable with optics and software.
