The Cassini 7716-24SC-O-AC-F is an open packet transponder loaded with ONIE and compatible with IP Infusion OcNOS. It incorporates the Broadcom Tomahawk+ StrataXGS ASIC. It enables network operators to easily extend and migrate existing metro and long-haul Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) networks to add new 100G capacities and extend inter-datacenter and Layer3 services. This switch is configurable with optics and software.
