The Celestica DS4101 is a compact 1RU open network switch with 32×800G OSFP ports, providing up to 25.6Tbps switching capacity. Built on Broadcom Tomahawk 4 silicon and powered by Intel Hewitt Lake CPUs, the DS4101 is designed to meet the demands of hyperscale, enterprise, and cloud data centers. NOS telemetry depends on the selected release and its supported interfaces. BMC management is a configuration option, separate from packet and congestion telemetry. gNMI, streaming telemetry and diagnostics depend on the ordered software and hardware configuration.

The DS4101 specification gives a maximum below 2000W. It has 1+1 redundant 2000W PSUs and 6+1 fan redundancy. Plan power and cooling for the installed optics and exact configuration; the PSU rating is not the normal power draw.

Can this switch be used in a GPU cluster environment with RoCEv2?

Yes, the DS4101 targets AI/HPC Ethernet fabrics. RoCEv2 requires the selected NOS to provide the needed lossless and congestion-control features, with matching NIC and switch configuration. Confirm PFC, ECN and the supported port modes for the software release before deployment.
